Dais and Cincinnati Insurance launch first agency-direct-to-consumer builder’s risk insurance to help contractors thrive in difficult times
Chicago, IL – Dais Technology has launched automated Builder’s Risk coverage, available immediately, with The Cincinnati Insurance Company winning the race to be the first carrier to enable their agents to offer instant quoting for this important line of business. Agents using this capability to help attract, sell, and retain contractors will have a massive competitive advantage within the building industry. Agents’ ability to handle multi-channel marketing will create differentiation and growth opportunities.
“Construction is one of the areas of the economy that has continued to thrive despite the pandemic, and agents have asked us to add more coverage for this industry. Builder’s risk is just the first unique coverage we’re offering for our agency-direct-to-consumer product and we’re excited to announce that it’s available right now for agents and policyholders using the Internet of Insurance, with automated quoting available immediately for agents appointed with Cincinnati Insurance” said Jason Kolb, CEO of Dais. “Our new product suite allows agencies to connect to and use multiple channels.”
Dais has been working with Cincinnati for several months to develop the capability to quote builder’s risk coverage instantly to agents and policyholders.
Sean Givler, senior vice president, Commercial Lines for Cincinnati Insurance, commented: “Working with Dais to create this quick and easy way to quote Builder’s Risk coverages is one example of how we are exploring insurtech partnerships to benefit the independent agents we work with. It was exciting to see our IT and commercial lines team work closely with Dais to create this application programming interface – or API – for Cincinnati Insurance.”
Agents are able to use the Internet of Insurance to offer builder’s risk coverage to their policyholders using both producers and CSR’s, as well as automated self-service quoting via Internet of Insurance storefronts.
Next up, said Kolb, is the ability to quote more than 30 different lines of business. “Our platform has gained the ability to handle over 100 lines of business and we are excited to be making many lines available for agency-direct-to-consumer strategies that have never been available before.
Dais provides a cloud-based insurance platform that is used by agents and carriers to bring new products to market and to make it easier to do business with them. They use the Dais platform to quickly create new products, distribute them to policyholders, and make the insurance-buying and insurance-servicing lifecycle easier for everyone.
